After a life-long interest in art, I took up painting following part-time retirement. Encouraged by a friend and watercolourist whose classes were about to commence, I attended for three years learning and becoming hooked on the lovely medium of watercolour.

I also ventured into Pastels, Acrylics and Mixed Media and have completed workshops conducted by leading artists in these fields.

I enjoy painting most subjects in all mediums, but my special loves include Blue Mountains scenery, landscapes, seascapes, flowers, still life and watercolour is still my favourite medium.

Most of all I enjoy taking the subjects for my works from first hand experiences of my travels around this wonderful country.

Several of my works have received awards and I have sold many paintings both  locally, interestate and overseas.

Whilst every attempt is made to represent colour as closely as possible to the original work, variations can occur due to differences between the colour settings on the display device.
